Torn between two Loves!

I couldn't help it but I am being confused. You see I was a very dedicated guitar aficionado once (actually it was almost 10 years ago), and I thought nothing can separate me from this finger-achin' hobby. I remembered sleeping with my guitar; eating with it; oh, we even had those moments prancing around in local gigs together screaming till my lungs ache as if there was no tomorrow; the occassional dates; those candlelit parties; and how I remembered hanging "her" gently to sleep (I think the "hanging" word is rude, how about laying?) each night. Yes, it was too good to be a great relationship - me and my guitar - and we were inseparable.
Or so I thought of that time.

Then 1997 came.

...silly
I never thought
a choice could be
too difficult as this!

All my bandmates left to work abroad. Silly, I was alone and working as a stage actor in a classroom forcing kids to learn Math the quick way. Well, I should be doing it or else I'll be left with no time to spend with my lone partner. Then suddenly, as it was quick that time, I passed on a newly installed Internet Cafe. Well, nothing to lose, I'm an accomplished window-shopper anyway, "so why not?", I said to myself. Then that started. No more mr.hurry-guy going home early to catch up with the guitar practice. But of course I have to spoonfeed the kids at school to be able to go to the Internet Cafe early in order to sit in front of those my-God-you're-too-slow!!! computers that time. It was fine at first - I targeted sites like guitarnotes and harmonycentral in order to download tabs and music sheets to feed my appettite for destruction. Economical, since I was spending much on trading and buying guitar books, magazines and tabs for a big price. "Great, I now can use the Net for my guitarist personal illusions!". Yeah!
Or so I was thinking that time.

8 years passed. Where's my guitar? Oh, I remember how it rot hanging on the wall. That poor soul fell a year later. And the thud sound still ringing in my ears, had I have nightmares of it, I can't remember. Sorry chap, I'm better off with this PC of mine. Intel Pentium 2.4 Ghz, 80 gig storage, Nvidia Geforce Video, 5.1 channel speakers and soundcard with subwoofer system, cool black case, and that smooth Samsung monitor - Ahhh, this is life. I can still play the Clapton songs and that Little Wing favorite. And the change? Look Ma! No hands!

Better of with the guitar. But lately, I saw that great blue green fretter on display in a downtown store. What the *%&@! This is it! I gotta buy that!

And so goes the story. I may be torn by these two loves of mine, but hey, any which way - my fingers still hurt!!!

A Fish Farm Trip

Just about 10 kilometers from our place is a fish farm that has been breeding tropical fish for aquarists and fish fans for a long time already. I had the chance to visit it as I was searching for newer species for my ponds. It was a wonderful trip and I was longing for more foot energy though because I haven't visited everything as it was just plain enormous. It was also incidental since I saw the largest Pleco in the farm. It was about 30 inches and it just costs 50 PP or about one dollar. I wanted a Pleco for my pond but not a monster like this. Anyway, I bought the shorter one though it still costs the same. Romaing around, I saw all types of Cichlid. Cichlids are actually not only very beautiful fishes but they are perhaps easy to breed and are not very demanding fishes. There were peacocks (Oscars), Angelfish, Auratus, Pindani, Ice Blue, Yellow Labs, and Zebras. There were also live-bearers like swordtails, guppies, mollies, and platys. There were also bettas and they're ...

New Flash Clock design

Ok, here goes another simple flash clock that can be in your blog like mine. For a good example of this clock, see my current clock on the right. Currently, I'm still working on my flash templates for blogs. It's just a very busy month for me and I can't seem to find more time for such. I'm not a complicated Flash coder so sorry if you find my clock bland. Anyway, it looks simple and fit for me. :P For the codes, please see my previous post.
