"Another one written in 1996. I was once fond of writing and somehow Sony grabbed the enthusiasm. Sony? Oh, yes...the Playstation."
There has been a constant mystery as to will the mind still work after death. This subject interests most scholars from simple people to those in the related fields of Science. This subject still remains a mystery for the reason that it poses a stale mate to those who would want to investigate. For how could you answer such a question when you are still living? You should be dead BEFORE YOU WOULD KNOW IT. Somehow I find quite explanation worth to answer such question. So would the mind still wo rk after death? I say YES and NO. In the CHRONOS chapter, I discussed that when the unmatter interacts with matter, time acts as the neutral boundary of the two. Time, moreso can be pictured as photographic instances occurring in the medium. Such med ium than, could be matter and unmatter also. To make it clearer, our brain produces certain waves I'll call "alma waves" that have specific frequencies . These Alma waves are like radio waves transmitted by a large transmitter (in this case - our brain) an d travels all around for a specific speed. But this act of escapism does not end the existence of alma waves here on Earth for these alma waves are already imprinted to the fragment of time. This would explain certain occurrences where some people claim to have seen a ghost in a house or maybe a cemetery or even on a roadside. Such phantasms as we usually call them, white ladies, ghosts, apparitions, etc, all of which are but fragments of time. A crime scene in a house would generate alma waves from the terrified victim or even the maniacal criminal's mind enough for a strongly oscillated frequency only to be once again "received" by another person's mind 20 years later. The person would declare he has been summoned by another lost soul hoping to shed a light upon his misfortune. Somehow, these "ghosts" are inanimate. They are only photographic instances being caught by brain acting like a TV receiver of that frequency. For example, I usually lie down on the bed in my room and write things like this. My act, usually beyond my consciousness, is already releasing frequencies of photographic instances or alma waves upon this scene. Years later or maybe more, some people would swear they have seen a phantom lying in the bed. So you see, there are many strange things in the world that could be explained by my theory. Haunting figures, discreet noises, apparitions - these things could be product of things that happened in the past. But there are factors that would contribute to who these things would appear. You know our mind works like a radio with a tuner for receiving incoming frequencies. Call it sixth sense or third eye, but it would still depend to how you could control your brain to tune into specific frequencies. A few, I believe, can do it. But some of us would experience it when suddenly you were surprised when you found out that the tune your friend hummed just now is the same tune you have been humming along inside your brain. Or maybe you got surprised when you and someone else spoke the same word or words at the same time and this left you both laughing. Somehow, I recall humming a tune while riding a jeepney and somehow found out that 5 kilometers away, a song is playing on aradio simultaneously as I am humming it. Things like this happen and could be evidence of man being able to control his senses. Going back to the phantasms we have been discussing, all these apparitions really do not come from the past. I believe some of which comes from the future too. Maybe this could explain UFO sightings. When witnesses say they have seen a UFO (that is usually explained to be alien in origin) maybe what they have seen is an imprint from the future - a predetermined future.
So you see, if everything else is happening within the fragments of time, then our " free will" is not free at all but a part of the reality which is already destined. And now, let's go back to the same question we have posed earlier - Will the mind still work after death? Yes, for it will become embedded in reality and forever joining with the past, present, or future (or as I believe - none of which exists); and No - for it will be not your conscious free will anymore but a collection of photographic instances of your existence.
